#STUDYABROADSUNDAY: LONDON, ENGLAND

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been MIA the last few days, I've been super busy with school and work! But I'm back today with #StudyAbroadSunday: London Edition! One of the best things about studying in Winchester is that it's only about an hour away from London. So, obviously I seized every opportunity I had to explore this wonderful city! I probably journeyed to London about ten times in the span of three months, whether it was a day trip or the beginning of a longer trip (my friends and i flew out of gatwick a few times going to dublin and paris!) Since I made so many trips to London, this post will be a collection of photos that I took over the course of my three month stint in England :) And for all my fellow Harry Potter lovers, this post will also include my trip to Leavesden Studios, aka the studio that Harry Potter was filmed at! Let's jump right in!

Let's face it...Big Ben is essentially London's mascot. However, Big Ben is the bell inside the tower and not the clock ;)

Cue cliche picture with telephone booth because why not

My lovely buds and I in front of THE Buckingham Palace *dies*

Ah the London Eye...you are lovely to look at but WAY too expensive to ride...sigh

A beautiful view of Big Ben from Trafalgar Square...pic credit to Rachel <3

Cause you're gonna hear me roarrrrrrrrr ;)

Tower Bridge aka not London Bridge but way cooler

I found a cute little door so naturally I had to take a picture with it

I was chosen to open the doors to the Great Hall so basically the best day of my life

Ravenclaw representttttt wut wut

The humble Weasley abode :)

This Hogwarts diorama takes up an entire room!

Hope you enjoyed this installment of #StudyAbroadSunday! Comment down below and tell me if you've ever been to London/if you want to visit someday! Also let me know if you want to see more pictures from the Harry Potter studio tour, as there are more where that came from!

WHO DOESN'T LOVE SNACKS?!: OCTOBER GRAZE BOX

Hi everyone! This week I received my first Graze box in the mail, and I wanted to show you the goodies that I got. Graze is a subscription service that sends you snacks once a month in a cute little box! (Which is made out of recyclable materials, I might add!) The box that I got this month is called the Nibblebox, which is basically a starter box with four different snacks in it. Keep on reading to see the snacks that I tried and for a chance to get a free Graze box to try yourself! :)

The box even comes with this little pamphlet that includes info and ingredients!

Snack 1 of 4: Brooklyn Bites. Components = poppyseed pretzels (poppyseed bagels, anyone?), cheese flavored cashews (i love both cheese and cashews, so love), and roasted pumpkin seeds (october appropriate!)

Overall Score: 6.5/10. I liked it but I don't know if I could eat a whole bag of it!

Snack 2 of 4: Strawberry Shortcake. Components = raw pistachio kernels, strawberry drops, yogurt coated strawberry pieces, sponge pieces (sounds strange, but they're like little pieces of sponge cake...but crunchy)

Overall Score: 8/10. When you eat everything together, it really does tastes like strawberry shortcake! :) Quite tasty, in my opinion!

Snack 3 of 4: Apple and Cinnamon Flapjack. (I know, it's not a pancake. I'll explain in a minute) Components = all you need to know is that it's made of DELICIOUSNESS

Overall Score: 100/10. Yeah, it's that good. I ate a lot of flapjacks while I was in England, they are kinda like a thick, giant, scrumptious granola bar. On steroids. I already ate it and I wish I had more :(

Snack 4 of 4: Toffee Apple. Components = soft apple wedges, toffee sauce

Overall Score: 2/10. This is a matter of personal taste, I'm sure most people would love this! I don't really like dried fruit, so I wasn't a huge fan. But the toffee sauce was yummy :)

Hope you enjoyed seeing the contents of my Graze box! What do you think about subscription boxes? Worth it? Waste? What snack do you think looks the tastiest? The first four people to comment down below will receive a code for a free Graze box! :)

#STUDYABROADSUNDAY: BATH, ENGLAND

Hi everyone! This post is the next installment in my #StudyAbroadSunday series! Second stop: Bath, England! I traveled to Bath with a big group of my American friends and the other international students, and we were all amazed to be surrounded by so much history! (That can be said about pretty much everywhere I went, the UK is overflowing with history...) Bath was one of my favorite trips, as it has always been on my list of places to see! We spent the first part of our day just wandering around the city, and then we ventured into the baths themselves! (Well...not into the water...you know what I mean) Hope you enjoy perusing my photos :)

One of the many beautiful cathedrals that I visited

Here we are in front of the cathedral! I'm sporting the purple hood ;)

Ooooh...steamy!

Me in front of the bath!

And me not following the rules and touching the water...I'm a rebel :)

AUTUMNAL INSPIRATION AKA I WISH I COULD GO SHOPPING BUT THIS WILL DO...FOR NOW

Hi everyone! I was feeling inspired today so I decided to put together a few fall outfits on Polyvore for you all :) Although I would love to actually be buying fall clothes like these, I'm being good and saving money for my trip to England (and Italy, Rome to be specific!) However, I can't promise that I won't buy any clothes once I get there! ;) Hint: More clothing hauls to come in the next few months!

black and white

This first look just goes to show how much I adore black and white. Honestly, I would go as far to say that 75% of my personal wardrobe is black and/or white! Black is the perfect color: it's slimming, classy, and goes with everything! Scarves are a fall staple for me because they pull any outfit together and they keep your neck warm! Oh, and I love plaid or any plaid-type pattern. But that's already been established in previous posts!

comfy

I don't care what anyone says, leggings are the best thing about fall! At least fashion wise. I live in leggings once the temperature drops, they are so comfortable and versatile! My favorite things to wear with leggings are big, chunky sweaters and I am in love with this purple one. If I didn't already have a backpack, I would buy this holographic one in a heartbeat! I'm such a sucker for anything holographic. And as for the Steve Madden booties...I've had my eyes on these puppies for months...the price tag is the only thing that I don't love! Maybe I'll finally give in someday and order them :)

grunge halloween

I saw this shirt and I couldn't help but think of Halloween! And I couldn't help but giggle too, I love the saying on the front. The distressed boyfriend jeans and leather jacket toughen up the look, but the ballerina flats add a feminine touch which I like :)

That's all for today, comment down below and let me know which outfit is your favorite!
